It is an organization that was created in July 2019 by HE Angeline NDAYISHIMIYE, the current First Lady of the Republic of Burundi to help the poorest people and contribute to the sustainable development of Burundi.
OUR VISION:
A Burundian organization sensitive and actor in national development through community actions focused on respect for human rights, mutual assistance, education and good health for all
OUR MISSION:
Carry out humanitarian actions in favor of vulnerable people and promote formal and non-formal education as well as good maternal and child health in Burundi.

Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye est rentrée au Burundi le 12 juillet 2026, après une mission aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni, où elle a reçu deux prestigieuses distinctions internationales récompensant son engagement en faveur de la santé, de l’éducation et du bien-être des populations. Accueillie chaleureusement à Bujumbura, elle a dédié ces prix au peuple burundais et appelé à poursuivre le travail avec détermination et sincérité. Le Président de la République a salué ces distinctions qui honorent à la fois sa personne et toute la Nation.

La Fondation Bonne Action Umugiraneza, fondée par la Première Dame du Burundi, Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye, a été honorée le 7 juillet 2026 à New York par le Prix des Nations Unies pour la population, dans la catégorie « Institution ». Cette distinction internationale récompense son engagement en faveur du bien-être des populations, notamment dans les domaines de la santé, de la protection sociale et du développement humain. À cette occasion, la Première Dame a souligné l’importance d’investir dans le capital humain pour bâtir un développement durable et inclusif.
