The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation

It is an organization that was created in July 2019 by HE Angeline NDAYISHIMIYE, the current First Lady of the Republic of Burundi to help the poorest people and contribute to the sustainable development of Burundi.

A Burundian organization sensitive and actor in national development through community actions focused on respect for human rights, mutual assistance, education and good health for all

OUR MISSION:

Carry out humanitarian actions in favor of vulnerable people and promote formal and non-formal education as well as good maternal and child health in Burundi.

  • REALISATIONS

    The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation has so far recorded many achievements, especially in the field of assistance to the vulnerable and other projects aimed at improving public health.

  • EDUCATIONS

    As part of her contribution to the promotion of quality education in Burundi, Her Excellency the First Lady of Burundi and President of the Good Action Foundation UMUGIRANEZA helps the poor by providing them with assistance consisting of school materials.

  • EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN

    The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation supports associations, centers and cooperatives of disadvantaged women, youth and children. It intervenes mainly in the fields of social assistance to the most vulnerable people, participates in the improvement of the health system, particularly child and maternal health, the empowerment of women and young people.

Les femmes leaders appelées à façonner une génération engagée pour un Burundi prospère

Ce 14 août 2026, la Caravane nationale des femmes leaders pour l’éducation patriotique a réuni à Bujumbura de nombreuses femmes leaders, en présence de Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye et du Très Honorable Révérien Ndikuriyo. Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye a souligné le rôle essentiel de la femme dans l’éducation des enfants et la transmission des valeurs de patriotisme, de travail, de respect et de solidarité, afin de préparer une génération engagée dans la construction d’un Burundi prospère.

Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye clôture un projet en faveur des communautés hôtes des réfugiés congolais

Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye a clôturé, le 13 août 2026 à Musongati, un projet de six mois mené par la Fondation Bonne Action UMUGIRANEZA en partenariat avec la Fondation LONA de Son Excellence Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi. L’initiative a renforcé les capacités de dix coopératives et soutenu les communautés hôtes des réfugiés congolais. Des chèvres, des bourses d’études et des matelas ont été remis aux bénéficiaires, tandis qu’un appui financier futur est prévu pour développer des activités génératrices de revenus.
