The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation

It is an organization that was created in July 2019 by HE Angeline NDAYISHIMIYE, the current First Lady of the Republic of Burundi to help the poorest people and contribute to the sustainable development of Burundi.

A Burundian organization sensitive and actor in national development through community actions focused on respect for human rights, mutual assistance, education and good health for all

OUR MISSION:

Carry out humanitarian actions in favor of vulnerable people and promote formal and non-formal education as well as good maternal and child health in Burundi.

  • REALISATIONS

    The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation has so far recorded many achievements, especially in the field of assistance to the vulnerable and other projects aimed at improving public health.

  • EDUCATIONS

    As part of her contribution to the promotion of quality education in Burundi, Her Excellency the First Lady of Burundi and President of the Good Action Foundation UMUGIRANEZA helps the poor by providing them with assistance consisting of school materials.

  • EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN

    The UMUGIRANEZA Good Action Foundation supports associations, centers and cooperatives of disadvantaged women, youth and children. It intervenes mainly in the fields of social assistance to the most vulnerable people, participates in the improvement of the health system, particularly child and maternal health, the empowerment of women and young people.

Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye impulse une mobilisation nationale pour une vie saine

Une activité sportive d’envergure s’est tenue le 11 avril 2026 à Bujumbura, sous l’impulsion de la Première Dame, S.E. Angeline Ndayishimiye, à travers le Club « Pas à pas, santé pour tous ». Rassemblant autorités et citoyens, cette initiative visait à promouvoir la pratique régulière du sport comme levier de santé publique et de développement durable. La Première Dame a appelé la population à intégrer l’activité physique dans le quotidien et a encouragé les autorités locales à soutenir ces actions. Une prochaine activité est prévue à Bugarama, dans le cadre de l’extension de cette dynamique à l’échelle nationale.

Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye : mission stratégique en Éthiopie

En marge de la visite officielle du Président burundais en Éthiopie, Son Excellence Angeline Ndayishimiye a mené à Addis-Abeba des activités diplomatiques et sanitaires axées sur le renforcement des systèmes de santé africains avec Africa CDC, la promotion du bien-être des femmes et des groupes vulnérables, ainsi que le développement de la coopération bilatérale entre le Burundi et l’Éthiopie, notamment à travers des échanges avec la Première Dame éthiopienne et des visites institutionnelles.
